How To Make A Post Your Homepage On Blogger
Blogger by default will always show your most recent post on top. However, you may want a particular post to be seen by all new visitors. This could be your introductory post with a unique message. You can also use this post to draw the attention of your visitors to a particular task. This can be done by selecting any particular post as the homepage. However, this will work only on desktop and not on smartphones.
It is a better idea to place your material on a separate page and then use this page as your home post. For this click on pages in your general settings area and proceed. Publish the same after completion. You can make changes later.
Step 1:
Go to 'Settings' and select 'Search Preferences'. Go to 'Custom Redirects' and select 'Edit'.
Type backslash / in the first box.
Paste the link to the post you want to make as homepage in the second box without the root. For example, in this case, only /2017/03/how-to-start-successful-blog is pasted and not the whole URL. Please note that the posted link is not fully visible in the current image but is visible in the image in step 4. Here http://blogs-and-money.blogspot.com is the root.
Click 'Save' and then click 'Save Changes'.
Paste your root URL in the browser and verify if you have got your selected post as your homepage.
